I cannot believe that another year has come and gone. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were welcoming 2000. I remember like it was yesterday sitting at my pastors house with his wife Marilyn and my friend Teresa (their daughter) wondering if the world was going to have a major crash with the ways of life we are so used to. Of course nothing happened and life went on as normal.
So after pondering on 2008. I now look forward to the future and what it may hold.
Life right now... on 12/31... honestly, is up in the air.
What is going to happen to the houses we have on the market? Will we be able to sell at least one if not both of the houses?
Is the economy going to get better? Or are we all going down a road of hitting total bottom to slowly climb back up?
Are we going to still be in Ohio by the end of 2009?
Is our church going to be able to grow and flourish with our new relaunch program?
I think the beginning of this year is the first year with so many unopened questions.
This is what I do know.
My relationship with my God, my Savior can only grow as I am open to His leading.
Errol and I are perfectly fit together and we hold unto eachother through trials. So no matter what 2009 throws at us WE will be together.
With family and friends... relationships can only grow stronger as one keeps opportunities to connect available. Thank goodness for the internet, in some cases.
In 2009 I will continue my education for my Associate Degree and continue researching to be a Claims Assistant Professional (CAP).
I know that as in each year of our lives there will be many opportunities to continue living. My goal is to live life and to live it to the fullest.
So as 2009 comes, I scream "Come on, give me your best shot!"
Hope all have a wonderful and safe New Year!

Goodbye 2008
2008 has come and gone so quickly. Reflecting on the past year. I ponder the question...so what did 2008 hold for me?
It was a year of headache and grief as we (anytime I mention we, Errol and I) delt with another year of financial burden in having two houses. We did not have any renters (or at least not ones that paid what was due) and we had to have an eviction process done. UGH!!!!
It was a year also of sadness and rejoicing as a member of my Dad's church passed on to her eternal reward, Alicia Dupler. She had been diagnosed with cancer and fought it for many years. I have been to a few funerals, but this one was different. There were so many people. She was truly an exceptional woman who had touched the lives of so many people and I look forward to seeing her again some day.
It was a year of happiness. Life with my husband could not be better and I love him more every year. 2008 we celebrated 13 yrs. Also we were able to spend times with current friends and reconnect with childhood friends. It was also a year of spending time with family; Josh (now living with us), David and Sarah, our parents, the visit we had with my cousin Angie while on vacation, ect... Love does make a difference in life. Those who are and are not mentioned here by name we love and thank God for you.
It was a year of learning about myself and what I want out of life. Sometimes we think we know what we want and then are pulled in an opposite direction. An example of this lesson is when in August we visited Arizona and found what we like to call "home".
It was a year of taking advantage to the success of our future by having me start college courses for an Associate Degree program in Health Information Management.
So to sum it up 2008 was a full year. A year of many life experiences and growth.
A good year and hope that it was the same for you.
