My New Motto

"Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy".
This is posted on the opening gate to Disneyland in California.
Wouldn't be nice to be able to do just that. I was wondering how often do we fully take the opportunities that life presents us? How often are we able to take life by the horns and live in the now? Not worrying about what tomorrow may bring or what others may think or feel about us.
Life is too chaotic and routine. We get up in the morning and get ready for the day. For some that means getting your children off to school on time. We normally go to work and work a 8+ hours of our day away. For some you may like your job and find in fulfilling, if so, you are one of the lucky ones. For others (like myself) you may not like your job or it is not what you had hoped it to be but you do it because if pays the bills. You fight traffic getting around everyday to the millions of places we all need to go. After work we come home to chores and errands. Some may help our children with school work or take them to the activities that they are a part of, do laundry, cook dinner and clean dishes, may be you volunteer in organizations in your community or church. We do, do, do until we are tired and ready to go to sleep. Only to start another day of the same or similar routines to the day before.
Here is my new motto. Live life, but not only living but doing it to the fullest of opportunities.
My husband and I have had some opportunities that others may have not been able to enjoy due to not being able to bear children. We have been able to travel, we have been able to enjoy the enrichment of life. However, life (like for all of us) becomes routine.
If the opportunities arise to parachute out of an airplane, will I do it? If I receive an opportunity to bungee jump, or any other crazy sport, will I take an opportunity to experience that part of life? Those are questions that some may know the answers to but for me it will be an answer that I will need to answer at the time that it presents itself to me (if it ever does).
So what am I talking about when I state to live life to the fullest. Smell the roses, feel the sunshine, don't forget to smile and laugh and share with others, cry at the movies or TV commericals. Feel frustrated when frustrations come their way. Learn about yourself and allow yourself to grow personally, spiritually and/or with just general interests that you have. Breathe in and out everyday without allowing stress of the day or future over rule (remind of that one later, hon').
For you, personally, you may have other examples of how you could enrich your life. But here is the key, Just live and live life to the fullest.
